Some history is needed before opening the photos ( also maybe some medication ). We have had some extremely high taxation regards of vehicles in Finland and it has been kind of national sport to avoid them and some very interesting things were done especially during '90s. This 911 E was imported without engine from arab emirates in 1988 and the owner really had an issue about taxes. He decided to pay zero and use every means possible to do so.

It was possible to convince the authorities to approve modifications up to 50% of already registered and taxed car so there the guy remembered that his VW1600TL is rotten but has already taxed vin number... And to make this "cool" body update he had to fill half a year papers but managed to get it approved somehow... The volkspors 1600 was born. No taxes were paid during the process

Vw tl1600 floor was shortened 128mm and Porsche body was welded on top of it. It is done so that it would be very difficult to see it without looking underneath the car...

Currently I am in between of enjoying it as is - practically as a already quite historical speciality or restoring it since I really like the 8484 original colour and sport seats.
