Help: need correct Decklid Emblem Color on a 1968 911T and P-O-R-S-C-H-E letters

I cant seem to find a definitive answer on this.

I am trying to determine what is correct color engine lid color for the emblems for my 1968 911T Targa

My car came with a Silver 911T Engine Lid Emblem and Gold P-O-R-S-C-H-E Letters

I can't Imagine that was correct. Since a 1968 is such a goofy car I need some help.
Their is Not a lot of info out there on the 911T since it was a Euro only car.

    1) So I need to know what color the 911T Emblem should have been silver or gold?

    2) I also need to know what color the P-O-R-S-C-H-E Letters should they have been silver or gold?

    Thanks everyone.

Probably "911T" emblem was originally gold that has faded, check the backside and see if it still has some gold on it.

AFAIK, T's are silver and Esses are gold.

    x2 on Rennman - I've never seen a gold 68 T, only L and S in gold.

According to my 1965-1968 Parts Catalogue the 'T' was chrome both for the P O R S C H E letters and the 911T badge.
