1967 911 rear quarter window frame to body seal

I'm trying to replace the rubber seal between rear quarter window frame and body. Have new rubber and having problems with getting rubber in the frame channel and stay. Anyone have the secret or tips on how to get it in the channel?

    Thanks,
    don

Don- there are a ton of threads regarding replacing both of the infamous quarter window seals. I used the search words QUARTER WINDOW SEALS. I found the Porsche seals ONLY for glass seals work best. I also found using Dawn Dishwashing soap straight, non-diluted really helps the rubber slide along the metal frame channels.

Here are some links for Porsche 911 Quarter window seal replacements

Thanks - I'll check them out.

So far I haven't seen anything about how the rubber bead on seal is inserted in to the frame. Is it slid down the channel (from a corner) or pressed in, moving around the channel? I hope that makes sense.
