You still running quarter window frames? POP out still? You could go with 356 hinged style plexi and lose the frames (will need creative seals) or go full R and glue in.

I do still have the frames and hinges. I don't think there will be much saved by removing the frames. The cost to weight savings might not be worth it I do have the lexan glass, I also have a pair of custom hinges coming. I'll post details when they arrive.

How about the glove box front panel? Not much but it looks like it can be removed.

Good point, I tried but I can't get to the hinges as the roll bar is covering it. It's a tight fit. I think I would need to remove the dash to access it.

Should be two giant screws inside you need to remove if I remember correctly.
Love all the weight savings you're doing.
    Keep it up.

Not a major change but I thought you might find it interesting. I had 911S decals made, saves a few ounces
    and dollars.

    Successful..ish weekend at Mosport.
Car ran pretty well, a couple issues as I struggle to find the right suspension settings. Lastly having some over heating issues. Temps in mid 80's , after 6-7 laps I had oil temps around 235. I would shut it down at that point Which cost me the win in the feature race. Keeping my engine healthy is the most important trophy this weekend. Next weekend we are off to Mt Tremblant for the Summer classic

Just got back from Mt Tremblant summer classic.
Such a great track, stunning views. I made a few small changes after my Mosport weekend. I was chasing oil temp issues. Replaced the thermostats, tried a Wix high flow filter, even ran a bit more oil. Everything was to no avail. Oil temps went to 235 after 7-9 laps.

Sitting in the paddock I thought ,what if I remove the lense cover? That did the trick, temps sat at 210 15 laps in. I'll have to modify the cover to increase air flow and still look presentable.

I attached a video of a drive by, I call it Flat 6 symphony.
I'm chasing a 74 RSR build. Just to clarify, I never caught him.
