    912BBS

„Sorry folks. 912BBS is currently down. Our hosting company did a server upgrade that has caused a major issue wth the forum. We are working on identifying the problem and finding a solution, but this might take several days, with our lone volunteer tied up with family stuff. Thank you for your patience and as always we are looking for more volunteers.“

Our lone volunteer is a God-send.

I tried to log in around 0830 and couldn't as my email address was not recognized. Tried again around 0945 and the site seems to be down again.

Our host made an upgrade to their servers that totally broke everything. Paula had been pushing them hard to fix it all day yesterday, and we were doing everything to get their attention. They claimed it was on our side. Looks like Paula finally got them to do something.

Yes, we need more volunteers. The BBS and 912 registry have a thriving community, but is in danger from a lack of volunteers to step up and do things. everyone wants to follow, no one wants to lead. the current board and volunteers have been doing this tirelessly alone for a long time... we need people to step up.

It seems to be back at full strength thanks to Paula's unceasing efforts. Give it a try and, if all is well with you, drop Paula a note of thanks on the site.
