    FS: SEV Marchal Ampilux Headlights

    PRICE DROP! $950 plus shipping!

These don't come up often. Very good condition. Some light scratches but chrome is excellent. Extra set I don't need and decided to part with. Will come trial-fit (on my 75 Carrera) and tested and ready to plug-in (i.e. both will include adapter like the one shown in the picture) for your assurance.

Is this a factory or after market? What years would this be correct for? Thank you.

I would love to buy these to stick in the parts bin as the price is right. You couldn't buy this nice of SWB housings and the ampilux bulbs separately for $950 (in fact, if you can't sell them, PM me).

John Audette has everything you need to know about these online.

I have a LWB but put in the bi-iodes, which are basically the same thing. Others could chime in and say which are better, but given restored bi-iodes from John supposedly have gone for more than 2x these, they are awesome enough. In my humble opinion, the SWB headlights with the clear hella glass are by far the nicest headlights for the longhoods. Much cleaner than either the sugar scoops or H1s. There is a reason they're so expensive beyond the association with the early racing cars.

For LWB installation you have to cut off the two bottom tabs, but otherwise straightforward.

Sorry haven't been checking this thread. This is not aftermarket and not a reproduction Ampilux (I've not heard of repro Ampiluxes- I DO have the repro Cibie Biodes in the correct diameter so THOSE (Cibe Biode) I know they have been reproduced). This is a good price, I'm selling because I have many other lights and 1 car (custom set of H-1's with raised lettering, yellow Ampilux and my Cibie Biode correct diameter replica are the ones I'm keeping).

    I'll take 'em!
They'll look awesome in the car till John gets my Bi-iodes done.
Please contact me for payment info.
