A Bit more info on the spec:
Engine (Currently Fitted)
· 1979 3.0 SC engine (originally a low mileage engine from a Sportomatic).
· Full rebuild in 2016 by Bienert Boxer Motoren in Manching, Germany to 3.2 Short Stroke spec.
· Refurbished heads. New valves and stronger springs.
· Cams DC60
· Amber fibreglass engine shroud
· Crank polished and balanced
· New ‘Carillo’ rods. These are not actually branded Carillo, but come from the same factory and are identical in every way according to my engine builder.
· Original Mahle cylinders bored out from 95mm to 98mm. Cylinders then re-Nikasil coated by a specialist in the UK.
· New Mahle 98mm pistons, 10.5:1 compression ratio
· GT3 oil pump
· 46mm PMO carbs
· JBR Twin plug ignition (done by BS Motorsport in 2019)
· Engine Dyno’d at 260 bhp with the stock exhaust (which cookie cutter tail pipes for extra bling).
· Turbo Thomas twin outlet exhaust
· Twin Classic Retrofit CDI Ignition
· Lightweight Flywheel
· Sports clutch
· Stainless Steel Heat Exchangers.
· 3.0 RS repro airbox.
· 915 gearbox.
Original matching numbers engine
· Currently half way through a cosmetic rebuild. Needs the carbs refurbished and a few other bits, but is complete other than the heat exchangers.
· No Heat exchangers (I used them for the 3.2)
· Original exhaust
· 2 original airboxes with snorkels
· Original CDI box
· The original gearbox would be a 901, but the number is not listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity
Suspension
· Stock other than new rear bushings when the trailing arms were powder coated in 2019.
Bodywork
· Orginally BlutOrange (Tangerine) non sunroof 1970 T coupe. Resprayed in Porsche colour code 6206 Silver Metallic
· No sound insulation at all
· Doors and bonnet, both carbon
· Front Wings – Glassfibre
· Rear engine lid – aluminium
· Front Bumper – Original 1972 S bumper.
· Original RS rear flares
· RS Lightweight rear bumper with twin outlet exhaust.
· Front windows re-anodised (2021) by Nick Moss (Early911.co.uk)
· Original 8x15 read Fuchs refurbished by Art wheels, France 2018
· Original 7x15 genuine 7R Fuchs refurbished by Art wheels, France 2018
· Spare wheel 6x15 Fuchs with heart.
· Complete toolkit (a mix or original and repro tools) in a repro toolbelt.
· 7mm rear spacers
· Original Bosch silver rimmed Euro spec indicator lenses all round
· Black Porsche script along the side
· Original S badges in gold on the glovebox and engine lid.
· AFS horn grills
· Original H1 RHD headlights with raised Bosch lettering. Fully refurbished.
· Original coil type oil cooler with the original Porsche oil pipes running along the side of the car.
· Spare Parts:
o Original rear bumper
o RS decklid with ducktail (painted in 6206)
Interior
· RS Lightweight carpets
· Dials refurbished (2021) by Julian Reap (Reap Automotive). Tacho red line as per 1970 S (to match the engine redline).
· No Sound insulation
· RS 380mm steering wheel with butterfly horn push
· Scheel SR 400 Rallye seats
· Original Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio
