    Correct Seatbelts 1968

With several model changes happening at the end of 1967, I am trying to find out what the correct seatbelts are for my 10/67 build 1968 911L. There are no anchors in the rear wheel wells from other's photos that I can see...and with several types/brands, etc... being offered for sale, would like to know what my car is supposed to have.

The Dr. B Johnson book didn't have anything specific to seat belts, only seats, and I don't know if/when there was a change or cut off.

    Thank you!
    Looking for a 1967 911S Project!

If your car was delivered in the US, It probably came with ASE/Hickock 3 point seat belts(installed in the US). The shoulder belt anchor for your car is located under the rear quarter windows and is the same SAE thread as the lap belt anchors.

Anthony's post was made at the same time as mine. His seat belts are a very good example of what your car probably had.

Hello, does your chrome buckles have a recess shaped to fit the Porsche decal shape in it? My 68 has this belts but the buckles have the recessed area for the decal. Sorry, just wondering as the buckles looks flat on your photo. Thank you.

Thank you for the information! Looks like I know what I need now. What mejia_anthony posted. What is odd, is that I don't have that anchor point for the over shoulder piece. I looked in my wheel wells and they were either welded shut and undercoated YEARS ago....or were just lap belts.

My car was US delivered (to New Jersey), left the factory 10/67, delivered to new owner 3/68. Nothing on my Kardex that refers to seatbelts/restraints.
