At this point while I'm trying to get ready to build a real garage for my hobby, I'm putting together an office/showroom with my production parts, plus literature/books/magazines available to locals as a reference library. I've got about 400sq ft to work with in a building basement with a high ceiling, and I think I've got enough book case shelf but I've never tossed away an issue so it's a "lot" of magazines (Pano, Christophorus, Excellence, Classic Porsche, Porsche & 911World and VW stuff) plus all the Workshop manuals, Parts manuals, and then all the books as well.

I have Pano and Excellence for the most part in original binders, (and slipcovered for the oldest first volumes of Pano), but I'm trying to figure out what to do with the Christophorus issues. If anyone has original Christo binders I would be interested. There's two distinct size, but I've been unsuccessful in finding any.

Failing this, if anyone has already done the legwork on putting Christo "on shelf" in a useable manner I'd be interested in knowing. The larger size they went to in the 60's doesn't really fit into anything useable at this time that I can find, but I haven't ventured into any of the specialized vendors or "hobby lobby" type of stores yet. Right now they are in plastic slide drawers and that's just not very functional. Any ideas on flat shelving for literature would be appreciated as well as they only way it appears I'm going to be able to make these accessible is clear slip covers and then 3 ring binders, same with owners manuals.

thanks,
