    Need your expertise on originality

    Hello,
I am looking for an answer regarding the originality and I need your expertise. Did all 911s from model year 65 to 67 have slotted front bumper horns (if they had bumper guards)?
Does the back seat of the 67 S Targa have the side edge of the seat and the normal model doesn't? The green $ 427,000 67 S Targa (Bring the trailer) has no border around the rear seat, but I've seen it on others. Is the green one the reference and S and N-model have the same rear seats?

    Kind regards.

Don't use the $427,000.00 or the $301,000.00 for reference. They got lazy. I think all 911's thru '66 had the seat surround. Only the '67 S had them and then I think they were dropped. Here in US '68 model year had to have rear seat belts so I think the surrounds were dropped in every model. Don't know about the bumper horns.

I think solid chrome in 65, slotted 66 thru 67. Like anything else some very early 66 models probably got the solid chrome and some very early 68’s got the slotted ones. The rubber optioned piece did not change the slotted vs non slotted.

I think they went to a black plastic piece after.

I can confirm what my two colleagues say above for 1967 911S SWT specifically: slotted front bumper guards (horns), and raised surround for bottom of rear seats. Don't forget the rear-ward "bulge" in the bottom section of your door panels, and and also a distinctive rearview mirror.

Also need the anodized aluminum garnish trim and the door handle trigger plates

Thank you for your advice, Thom, Mejia and Jim.
    I summarize:
    1. 65-67 bumper guard with slot; 67 S-model with rubber pad; the 67 N-model only with rubber pad as special equipment
    2. Seat frame (seat surround) on the 67 S Targa and without seat surround on the 67 Normal Targa

But this means that most of the restorers do it wrong und use the rear seats without the seat surround for S-models. In my pictures I found the seat surround only in 682S, 587S, 325S and 384S.
Even the expensive green 500638S has rear seats without surround. But I think it is a nice car with a completely wrinkle-free Soft Window the Soft Window and the Targa roof has the the old structure.
Does someone know who can offer the material of the old Targa roofs? I only found the newer material.
