    69 E Seat Rails - What was original finish?

    Trying to clean up the last odds and ends on my 69 E restoration. What was the original factory finish on the seat rails? Top and bottom silver zinc or top chromed and bottom silver zinc? Thanks in advance.

    I had a set checked with a hand-held spectrophotometer - clear zinc .

    The set on my '65 I chemically tested were also clear zinc
