    FS: left side '68 chain box

    good question. this came to me with some other unrelated parts. unless I'm missing something, which is a distinct possibility, PET indicates part number for the cover:

    901 105 067 00
    Lid /L -68 Chain case with - WEBER - Carburettor Emission control

    there are also multiple part numbers for the case itself. the tech drawings are lacking in details that differentiate the various cases and covers.

    Not to hijack but if the buyer of this also needs them I have the 68 camshaft set including the L cam with long nose that this chain box requires.

    Maybe someone is restoring a 68 USA spec car with the smog?

    So then a US spec 68 911 uses a longer cam shaft to operate the smog pump. so this cam cover is only for a car with smog pump. Another difference between a ROW car and a US spec car. Learn something new about 68 911's. thanks good luck with the sale. Chris
