    Cool So do you put the ferule on first then push the hose into it? Or do you put them on together?

    A little of both, I put the ferrule on the nipple, then slide hose on nipple and push the ferrule onto the hose as I push the hose all the way on nipple. I use lube on the hose.

    Yes to that, these are a bit of a pain to install !

    I put ferrule onto the hose to assure the hose is fully installed then grease the inside of hose end and onto the nipple. A soft-faced vise holds the banjo while you push/twist hose into place.
