    1QuickS is now in Salem

I decided to fly to Santa Fe to pick up my 67S and drive it back to Salem, OR vs. my original plan to tow it. A good choice. Once I sorted out the fuel delivery issue and performed a general carb tuning I drove home. Total trip was 1440 miles and I averaged 23.5 MPG for the total drive getting 25.0 MPG at 80 MPH for a duration of 367 miles and 23.5 MPG at 70 MPH for a duration of 225 miles. The engine was MUCH happier at a higher RPM! 32 hours total time with 24 hours driving. I had to stop a couple of times to adjust jetting for decreasing altitude and to catch a couple of Z's in the car.

Route was up through Four Corners region then Salt Lake city, Boise, Portland and then home to Salem.

Did you buy it back or are you doing some service work on it? Seems I recall it being sold on BAT...

It would be fun for you to join up with the Cascade PCA group. We are coming from Eugene and headed to Dallas this Saturday. I can get you more information if you are interested.

I watched the very long process (multiple web sites) of this 67S being sold way back when. Amazing you got it back and that's just a killer 67S!!! Good deal Paul.

    Paul,
I just posted the information on the "Oregon" regional section. If you are hoping to just meet up with the group in Dallas, you might contact Gary at the RSVP address and he can give you an ETA or figure an hour and a half if they make a pit stop.
