I have this item but not sure about the value. Contact me for more details or pictures. Offers are welcome. The item is located in Denmark but I can ship worldwide.

Does this forum not require the listing of a price?

If not sure of the value, the working condition is probably unknown as well. I’ll take it for $100.00 shipped to NorCal.

    I’m totally serious.

With due respect, you really need to do your homework on an item BEFORE you list it for sale on this forum.

    Jay, Porsche used twin-plug BOSCH and twin-plug Marelli (Early/Late) in various race engine configurations; 906, 917, 911R, 911ST, 73' 2.8 RSR, 74-75' 3.0 RSR, 935, etc.

Fair enough. I thought this was a relevant community to ask for advice. Where else would you do research on pricing of an item like this? Maybe you could point me in a direction?

Ignore him. This is an appropriate place to ask... as suggested by Armando, several versions by both Bosch and Marelli were available. Depending on condition asking prices vary quite a bit, ranging $3,500-10,000.

I'd guess an average price is roughly $5,000. YMMV.

RetroSport has one currently listed at $8,500. Is yours tested and ready to rock?

    Thanks for your help.

I have had the part in my garage for several years and never used it in my other RSR replica race cars. I got it from Bo Strandell in Sweden, who used to work at the Kremer racing team back in the seventies.

I thought someone might be interested in purchasing this item but I don’t have much knowledge of these electrical things but I think it has been rebuild/converted in some way.I prefer to have it checked and tested before the final listing and all knowledge is greatly appreciated.

Mads I wouldn't get too worried about someone with 10 posts telling you what to do here. Most here are very nice and helpful. I've asked questions and most try to help. Some rip you for not spending an hour doing a search that you just spent an hour doing a search on and gave up and just asked the question. Oh well.
You are correct. Were else would someone go to find the people who have the answers about these vintage 911's. Here.
