    72 911T Targa... just delivered.

Just had my 911 delivered! She’s gonna be a project and I hope to keep the progress tracked and updated here. Wasn’t the cleanest car but sure was a lot closer to my budget. Been dreaming about one of these sense I was 16! I’m sure Restoration Designs will be seeing a few orders shortly.

I’m located within 15 minutes of them so probably closer then most would want! Currently working on rebuilding the Weber carbs... first start and it sprung a bit of a leak! I’m also luck to have a locate independent European car shop that I would certainly recommend to any in the area!

Looks to be a fine car. Good luck with the work and I hope you’ll share your journey here with your fellow Canadians!

Congrats and welcome from another targa owner.

Good looking iX as well. I loved the two that I owned, and they were unstoppable in the snow with a set of Nokia Hakkapelliitas.

Very cool! I remember how excited I was 2 years ago when mine was unloaded from the transporter. Yours looks OK from what we've seen so far. Of course, there's lots of hiding spots we can't yet see.

You mention Weber carbs - is it a North American spec that has had carbs installed in place of the standard injection? Or is it a RoW T that came with carbs?

It’s a ROW. I have some research to do to really determine the history... a lot of info was lost when the previous owner passed away. I picked it up in an estate sale. I have to finish wrapping up another e30 project for my brother before I really start to tear into it. I am hoping to have a few drives before summers over!
