    thats a yellow fabric tape....no text found...i do not know what purpose it served...this one was on a 67 on both sides

    I normally use tape to mark the fully collapsed shock position and zip tie to monitor where in the range I am.

    That tape position looks a little low (below brake Line bracket) for being used for that purpose

    Richard, dont know from the top of my head but they are on the Boge struts also. Might by the foundry marking. I am sure Jon B will know.
