    Early Messko Gauge Question

    Anyone know how to remove the plastic lens on these early Messko gauges? It doesn't have the metal band around it like the bakelite ones.

    a small rubber suction cup might get it off but I'd consult with a watchmaker first. good luck

    Thanks Mark I was able to remove gently with a razor blade, just wanted to know if it was just friction fitted which it was. It was flexible enough to just pop out and pop back in to its slotted position. Thanks!

    I pull the aluminum cap off and use air pressure to pop the lens out.
