It sounds like this is close to the consensus sport suspension setup. Or?

for context, my ‘73 S Coupe got to me in mid January. It’s fine puttering around town, but the suspension is obviously tired when I get into the mountains. It’s getting a major tune right now - basically resetting the engine baseline with fluids, plugs, cap, rotor, wires, valve adjustment, injectors, vacuum lines, rebuilt throttle bodies, check and adjust everything. And repro sport seats. Once my wallet has recovered from all of that, I’m panning for a suspension refresh.

I have relatively new Vredestein Sprint Classics on the ‘73 now, annd they seem great. I also have a 992 sport classic and a 993 with Bilstein PSS10s, turbo S swaybars and elephant adjustable drop links. The 993 is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for in my 73 S. Feels original, but very sporty, dialed in and predictable original. In other words, I’m not trying to make the ‘73 something that it isn’t, just the best version of what it is. The Sport Classic is like a video game (a really good video game). I’m definitely not trying for that!

Anyway, I think I’m going to go with the setup that @Haasman is describing, but I’m happy to hear confirmation or suggestions. My biggest complaint is excessive body roll and a floaty feeling.

Gratuitous pictures of my new car.
