FS: Brembo lightweight 3" caliper set

Hi folks. Offering a set of rebuildable Brembo caliper cores for a 3" strut type. These are the lightweight Brembo calipers sometimes referred to as the "AM" caliper: https://www.pmbperformance.com/catal...45/6862358.htm.

Rebuildable means that I've checked all the threads, pistons not stuck, etc. Ready for new seal kit (which I can provide) and use OR full restoration. $400 OBO shipped in the USA.

I can rebuild these if desired, and options available (i.e. new bolts, pistons, etc.) but am offering a set of cores as-is for those who wish to DIY. Photos to come soon as I can't get them to upload.

Can't believe these haven't be snapped up.
They are a great upgrade for lwb rears as well. I have a pair on the front of my 67S

What do you need to do to fit them to the rear?

You need nothing. It's a direct fit on the original lwb arm for the 69-73 rear. For SWB cars in the front it's a direct fit.
There is a spacer to widen the caliper if you have vented disks or run without spacer if non vented.

Mostly you would require much bigger fronts to keep your brake balance. Probably requires large 4 piston fronts.

I ran them with S fronts on my ST.
    DC70 up front and hp+ or dc60 rear.(,I can't fully remember)

Update to anyone reading this thread...when I ran these on the rear with stock S fronts I had adjustable brake bias . This would not be a great set up as a stock replacement for lwb rears without bias adjust no matter what pad you run

Thanks Fubavu and Davep. I will check the piston diameters on my options and do some math, and test fit them and check the clearance with 15".

Does that work well? with or without a proportioning valve. They have the same piston diameter and the same pad size, only pad thickness differs.
