Where's the fuel filter on my 68 T?

I'm searching parts diagrams and the workshop manual and can't find the location of the fuel filter on my 68. The fuel line comes to the hardy fuel pump in the engine compartment then the line goes straight to the webers. Is the filter nearer to the tank?

There are possibly two fuel screen/strainers in the tank, one is for fuel line for engine and one for Webasto gas heater. The fuel line for the engine is connected to the screen and the screen screws into the bottom-rear of the tank. It has a big hex feature for installation, perhaps 22mm. The fuel is then considered good enough for the fuel pump to pump to the Webers. The fuel inlet banjo fittings on the top, inboard side of the Webers (two per carb) have fuel screens installed inside each banjo fitting and they filter fuel from the fuel pump before it enters the carb float bowls. This is OEM fuel line installation. Additional filters are typically added by owners in the attempt to "help" keep debris from entering the Webers. In reality debris enters via imperfect air cleaner housing seals and then you can have rust dropping into the float bowls from the vent pipes installed in the tops of the carbs.
