    2.2 T Targa Sporto Yellow -

    Greetings,

Have seen that one 2.2T Targa Sporto in perfect shape with an 1 euro coin size rust bulbe in the bottom right front fender.
Engine has been fully overhauled in 2019 and receipts are presents over 20 decades.
Everything works as it should - matching everything too.
Drove a 2.4T Sporto a while ago for weeks and kinda like it. I even think sporto is great to Targas.
Thinking of swapping my SC Targa + $ to that one.

Any thoughts ? On sporto (Frank is not around...) ? 2.2T sporto anyone ? Any help/experience/feedback/talk welcome.

    Xavier,

we use „ my wife’s“ 911E 2,4 Sportomatic Targa quite often, during summer nearly daily to bring the kids to school and kindergarten.
It s always a pleasure in Stuttgart city, but also the ok dir Sunday drives.

A Sportomatic is no rocket science.

    Go for it.

I think there is a black door edge protector making that gap look huge.

It is possibly good that the only rust you mention is on the bottom of fender. This is a place that does fail. I have seen cars that have virtually no rust at all yet this area has rust. So .... find out how long ago the car was repainted. It could easily be that this fender area did not present it self at the time of paint preparation (double wall construction, dog leg). But .... make sure you look very carefully to be sure that the paint preparation was not shady. Because the dash pad and upulstrry were removed to repaint is a good sign. good luck . i love Targas.
