    1973 Seats

    Hi all,

I am refurbishing my leather 1973 comfort seats. When I opened them up I saw no rubber rings and clams. I just bought them from our German friend heren on the forum but looking at Sierra Madre burlap set it says it is not supported in 72-73 seats.

I looked online but I didn't find any information about this.

Does anybody know how these seats where constructed ?

    Best,

    Jeroen

    Check out my seat rebuild thread. https://www.early911sregistry.org/fo...ation-question . It's for a 1973.
Since then I have actually redone them with the felt/horsehair pads available from KHM in the Fatherland, and the seat bottom spring baskets that Porsche now makes again, but the seat back ring part is the same. Redid them in the name of authenticity. They were plenty comfortable.
