These don't look like 1969 drivers to me? Not quite fat enough at the end. Plaese correct me if I'm wrong, maybe 912 was different to 911 kit?

I was told that the 912 and 911 kits were the same. If this is not the case, I'd love to hear from the people on this forum.

I've also been told that the ones marked "Klein" (which do have a fatter end) are NOT from 1969, even though advertised that way on some Ebay postings.

All I can say is that I guarantee that these were in our 1969 912 toolkit, which my husband saved even after the car was long gone. They were stored in our dry basement since the 70s.

911/912 screwdrivers are the same. It's generally agreed that 1969 screwdrivers were a one-year-only version with slightly bulbous ends on the handles which would make this driver a 1970-73 (early '73) tool. That said, it's a little bit all over the place and it's entirely possible - and probably probable - that at least some 1969 toolkits were delivered with this type of driver.
