    NOS Repa reels. Read on......

I purchased around 30 New old stock Repa reels a few years back to rob them of there 72 -on chrome tongues. These reels are from the VW parts bin and are boxed as such. The B post loop and the mounting tabs are different than the 72-on Porsche one's . All these reels are from the same side.... i can't seem to remember at the moment. The reels have the original US / rest of world plain Black webbing with VW labels.

These reels will retract on both sides of the vehicle. All you need to do is turn around the B post hook and tongue and sew your mounting tab. If you have a set of old crappy reels with decent tongues then here's an opportunity to restore your belts. You will need to harvest your B post loop and mounting tongue from your original set. I will supply a pair of correct new dated Silk labels in the deal. Pictures will follow over the next few day's once i visit my storage area.

Only interested in selling these as pairs and i don't have time to do restoration on these either, hence the sales advert.

2 new reels inc 2 silk labels will be £335.00 per pair shipped.

Paypal is : davidjoconnor@sky.com Please pay via friends and family payment or add the 5% fee , i have cut these to the bone.
Please let me know date of labels you require, full name, address, phone and email please. I won't post without these details as i have had a few parcels go missing.

    Thanks
    Dave

Could you use a pair of these to convert an early '72 that has fixed belts to automatic? Mount the reel on the sill and use the fixed belt tongues?

Apologies, you would mount these on the factory rear quarter location.

Hmm. Will give this some thought. I'd prefer to not have to cut a hole in the quarter panel.

These might retract in other locations, but i would need to check it out. Surprised these are not all sold out. Deduct the label price and £40 shipping cost and these are working out about £140 a reel. NOS in the box, great zinc and never used US webbing. Go figure....!

These are 72-74/5 right sides but as you say they work on both sides. Free bump!
