    Our intersecting paths

Interesting Rick. I had forgotten you too were looking at Cris's ex '69. I was doing the same. I had sold my '71S Targa in search of a really special S model. When Cris's car came up and I was really, really debating about it. Many behind the scene discussions with my compadres here in the MW.

Ended going a different direction as you know.

Great to see it again and photographed so well too. This car longs for a 2.5 SS.

PS thought about the car in MI also, but only for a minute or two.

    Hey, Brian . . .

Yeah --- you and I were both looking around about the same time . . . and at some of the same cars

Never got to see this one in the metal. Would love to have a closer look, though

And apparently --- this car is 'around' . . . but I've never seen anyone post anything about it here

    Anybody know George Puckhaber?

    Thumbs up

Yeah, George is a great guy, and a real enthusiast. He also drives and tracks a 997GT3.....

Last month George drove the '69 to the track and participated in the Treffen Track Day at Buttonwillow, then drove it to (and for the drives) at the gathering in Cambria for the rest of the weekend..........

I feel fortunate to be the caretaker of Cris' car. Glad you guys passed on it when it was on the market : ) And... thanks for the props, Chuck!
