Dealer Description:
First delivery in Switzerland, electric sunroof, Sport-O-Matic.
Finding one of only around 200 Coupe 911S 2.0 with Sport-O-Matic in its original condition is more than difficult. Most of these vehicles were converted to manual transmissions in their car life and / or fell victim to European weather conditions. In the USA, no 911S models were offered in the 1968 model year due to the new emissions regulations. We are all the more pleased that we can offer a vehicle that is special in several respects in our portfolio:
It is an excellent documented 911S sunroof coupé in the rare color: blood orange.
Our 911 S was delivered to its first owner in Switzerland by the Swiss importer (AMAG) as one of the first vehicles of this type on April 12, 1968. The first owner had ordered his dream car with the following equipment: electric sunroof, Talbot mirror on the left, seat inner panels in corduroy, Sport-o-matic gearbox. The vehicle is in unrestored original condition outside and inside and is largely in the original paint. Just unique!
The history of the vehicle is wonderfully documented and the complete on-board folder including the original checkbook prove the low mileage of 123,000 km. For the vehicle there is also a birth certificate, the original car card, the original Sport-o-matic brochure and many invoices.
The Porsche is ready to go for the Marathon de la Route!
