    respect for image property

I have a query ... I am to download many images, share them, I never alter them and I usually respect the images and the links of the owner but I wonder, if ... even respecting the signatures etc, whoever takes the image and shares it for a place that is not your home page ... Does the owner feel bad? I have taken many photos of motor pages and I have mixed them in this forum and in others ... I think, that the knowledge belongs to everyone and that if the image is already published, it can be published in more places but ... I don't even know What point this practice is well seen by the owner of that supposed image ...

That's a lot of wishful thinking on your part and a pretty good way to find yourself writing a large check to whoever owns the image. IN the U.S., EVERY image on the Internet gains copyright status the instant it's published.

There are many detail differences in copyright law around the world. But in regards to photographs in general, the person who took the photo "owns" the image. The owner can transfer those rights to someone else, who becomes the new owner. The owner's rights are retained even if they post it publicly somewhere, unless they specifically waive their rights. If you are saving copies for your own use, it is likely that no one will complain. But re-posting them elsewhere without permission is generally a violation of copyright, even if you credit the owner.

Again, this is a really simplified summary, and there will be differences depending on the jurisdiction of the original owner and the person who may have copied it. But to be safe, don't re-post an image without permission of the owner.

somewhat complicated I guess! I understand then, revealing any image by mere investigation is illegal? I have published many images and the truth ... I do not feel guilty for it since of the porsche history and of the porsches in general I have not won a euro in my life (I do not know other people) from my point of view I always do it from the "investigation" and I have never received a complaint from the owners of the images. In any case, I will always erase the image when someone asks me for it and I am always open to messages ... But with all this I have the doubt of how it has been possible to reach such visual knowledge about the porsches of the time if what I I do in some cases is "illegal". That means ... that anyone who has a photo of my vehicle on his mobile pc or hard drive is obliged to ask my permission? ... It is something difficult to believe today, although if this is how you see that you act correctly in this forum ... I have no problem in it and I say and make it clear ... if any author or owner wants me to delete an image of their property, I will be happy to receive a message!

and thank you all for being so clear!
