    FS: @Gas Monkey Garage - 119300869 . . .

    . . . at Gas Monkey Garage . . .

    VIN = 119300869
    Eng# = ?

    '. . . prime example of a Garage Find Porsche 911 S! Parked away in a garage decades ago, it is presented just as I found it dust and all!

    It is the most desirable and rare Long Nose 911 S model sought after for the perfect balance of speed and agile handling developed by Porsche Engineers in Germany.

    The included Kardex Report confirms the car was built with Factory A/C, Blaupunkt Radio. Quartz Iodine Fog Lamps & Tinted Glass. This example was finished in the rare 6803 Ossi Blue paint and was delivered with Michelin Tires mounted on the vey desirable Fuchs Alloy Wheels.

    The car is fairly solid with superficial rust present on most underside components and some perforation present (see all pics). It is fairly complete with most removed components present such as the rear deck grills, air cleaner & original Blaupunkt radio. The engine has been replaced with a later engine from a 1972 911T I believe.

    While this very rare and desirable 1969 911S is fairly complete and solid, it is being sold as a non-running project that will need to be evaluated to determine completeness and functionality of all systems and components before it is completely restored to ensure safety and reliability. Due to our production schedule, we are unable to perform any work on this 911 S or build it for you, sold as is/where is. Clear Texas Title in hand. Located here at the shop where it will need to be towed or trailered, it is available for pick up or inspection M-F 9-6 by appointment only, just email to set up a time for pick up

    Looks like a flood victim... needless to say, the asking price is highly optimistic. Let's see how long it's in inventory.

    That's a TV show ... little to do with real life market, restoration costs etc. etc.

    Wow, + $32,000 in just three weeks? Nothing is hidden on the interwebs.

    I know it's a BS television show with an obnoxious host, but that is quite a flip attempt! Like I said, let's see how long it stays in his inventory...

    Superficiale rust!? That thing is roached. The piece of plywood next to it is in much better shape and worth more.

    Their YouTube video claims they paid 55k on a 65k asking, but the last update to the Facebook ad shows the last asking price was 51k. Its Hollywood magic. The FB seller in the video also said he had a list of people waiting to wire him 65k, but 'ole Richard sweet talked him down 10k under that... tragic.

    So, a turd, a rusted turd, a rusted turd without its soul (the engine).

    That photo has been around a lot in a meme as the wood being worth more than the car.
