Hi,
I'm having trouble keeping a lid on it ...
I've read the bonnet catch adjustment thread, before I set off down that rabbit hole is this catch worn out ?
The wire in the photo is my 2ndary bonnet restraint.
Thanks,
Craig

it looks fine to me.
It's really the underside that does the catching.
Sometimes, the underside edge gets rounded out.
How does the plunger look? That needs a sharp edge too.
Sometimes, the plunger is screwed in too far, making it too tight.
Sometimes, the whole thing is just too crooked.
Sometimes the grease is too gummy.
It might be best to just put the plunger in, completely removed. Till you adjust and see it pop out fast. All with hood fully open.
The when you put it back together....
really make sure it is lined up.
Really pay attention to how the plunger can get locked up.
Because that could make it so your hood won't open.
I'm afraid of that wire going down the hole. That's a little adjustment tool hole.
It shouldn't have anything down it...
