Expect to pay double right now for non-op pickups. I just had a car picked up from Cali to NY, it cost me $1800.
I put it out there for $1200, nothing, $1500 nothing, ended up finding someone for $1800, it hurt, but I need the car moved.
It was a 64C Non-op, on open transport. I didn't use a broker, put it directly on Central Dispatch. I noticed lots of stuff not picked up in the $1500 range, even running cars. I guess there are a lot of truckers who aren't back on the road yet.

Depends. But overall, I agree, with some caveats. Anything out of Cali is brutal. So much competition for loads coming out of that state. Personally, I'm paying at least 50% more bringing cars to Texas thru Central Dispatch but paying about 50% less on cars leaving here due to so many full trucks coming here and leaving empty to pick up another load from people relocating to Texas. Unfortunately, I buy cars all the time and rarely sell so not a very good deal for me personally.
