WTB: 1968 driver side tinted vent window

    Hi all,

Looking for a used tinted glass vent window driver side for my 1968 SWB car.
I have the frame, it just has a clear window in stead of tinted.

Thanks for your offer Pekka, but your window is a passenger side, I need a driver side :-)

I am not sure what the glass code is, maybe someone else knows?

please forgive me, but i am always learning something new, and never completely sure that i have 'final' answers on anything.

that said, i think the glass code should be printed on the glass that you want to match (passenger side).

for example, the glass on my lap says, "sekurit D-02" and "M2AS2." others in my stash have codes like "sekurit D89" and "DOT27 M89 AS2".

    the greenest one says "sekurit-F D-51" and DOT27 MS1 AS2"

i don't know what each code might mean, but (at least for me) the code for the driver side would likely match the passenger side.

(in truth, my hope is that someone who actually knows the codes chimes in here and tells you what you need.)

All tinted glass would have an "F" beside the Manutacturer. Such as "Sekurit F". Clear glass will just say Sekurit or Sekurit 1.

    Regards
