    . . . Alfa Romeo Giulietta SS . . . aka Sprint Speciale

Really pretty little car. Seen these over the years and always liked the looks. Lots of neat little details --- bumpers, fittings, trim . . . and a really sexy interior. Super aero, too. Problem was/is, the body 's all steel and a bit heavy for the engine . . .

    . . . = slooooooow

    . . . Two-seater Roadster of some sort --- I'd guess Murphy?

. . . no covered exhaust pipes poking out of the side so no super-charging

    Still --- DOHC 400 cid straight eight = >250 hp (in the '30s!). . . + red-on-red . . .

    . . . 'duesie,' indeed

Check-out those covers over the retracted side-widows --- no 'felts,' here . . . polished stainless + piano hinges

Interesting way the building + collection are arranged

Reminds me of a plywood quonset hut --- a sorta half-tube structure . . . with the ends covered in glass. The main displays are shoulder-to-shoulder and run down the middle --- kinda cramped, in places = tough to take pics . . . but the outsides have cars, as well, arranged nose-to-tail, more-or-less

And scattered hither + yon are these little vignettes w/assorted displays + collections . . . Lalique mascottery, anyone?

Not everything 's my taste, maybe, but --- if I'd had more time . . . I could've easily spent few days crawling around all this stuff

    And there's even a whole 2nd building I never even got to, so . . .

. . . 1918 Cadillac --- used by US Expeditionary Forces in Europe in WW1, one of the few surviving documented US vehicles of that war, and the only known Cadillac used by the USARMY

    . . . Lancia B20

    2-ltr/120 CID V6 = 75-110 hp . . . depending the variant

Always liked these. Not exactly beautiful but beautifully finished + detailed w/lovely interiors

So how come so many old Italian cars are RHD when Italy has right-side traffic?

And I wonder what these 're like to drive?

    Anybody?
