    Looking for a strong to excellent condition orange bar hood emblem / ornament that was original and correct for 1972. No chips/cracks or reproductions please.

    Not sure how best to communicate so feel free to let me know how to reach you.

    Education appreciated on the stipple/ how to tell 71 from 72.

    Narrowing a badge down to a specific year is a fool's errand. Other than the general concensus that smooth-back badges preceded the pebbled-back badges, there are no definitive answers, and little agreement, about when the various badge minutia appeared or on what cars it may have been installed.
