    WTB: early batwing..

    I have sourced the 380mm wheel I was looking for and a puck and hardware...still looking for a batwing core. Thank you.

    It may not matter since it is changing the stock one for one not found on the car but isn’t suffix 806.10 the only one of that 38cm size mentioned in the factory parts book model 72/3 ?

    805.10 and 806.10 are identical. 806.10 is specifically attributed to 73 RS and will command a substantial premium. The 805.10 is plug and play; no fitment issues. Other models will work but may be a bit wobbly. There is an extensive and very informative thread about 380mm wheels. Best of luck

    Thank you for the additional information, and yes, no need at all for the RS 'premium' wheel for my application.

    I got the idea - and liked the look - from a friends 72 911T. He has the same 380mm 914 wheel and it works fine.
