    901 handbrake rebuild help

Hi guys so over the weekend i stripped my handbrake down and when i got down to the guts of it a metal tag dropped out . Would someone be able to tell me where it goes and if it is repairable?

    I have attached some pics.

    Thanks in advance

How did you remove the bakelite handle piece from the metal brake handle?

    Thanks,
