    You don't know the half of it with that car. I bought it from a Japanese exchange student. It was wrecked down both sides and the back window was gone. He did give me a roll of plastic that he updated weekly for the back window! The whole car cost me $300, which for a broke college student was the right price. I cobbled the car back together based on parts I got here and there, so it didn't all match, but I got it looking decent.

    It was part of a long line of VW's I had in those days, starting with my first car, an 82 Scirocco.
