    Again Seeking the Wisdom of Scholars -- final trim on the front of targa bar

    We are making progress (albeit slowly) on getting the interior installed in '68 SWT # 11880001, but it's important to get the details as correct as possible, so I am reaching out for collective wisdom of the scholars.

    As shown in the photo, I need to know how the front of the targa bar is finished. PET shows part # 901-565-513-42 with the description, "padding version with convertible top, rear wall."

    In addition, PET shows 901.565.017.40 "interior lining for roll bar with cover version with convertible top rear wall" but both PEt references are cryptic.

    I'm hoping that one of the SWT scholars can show me what the front edge of the bar is supposed to look like, and where I find that piece.

    Thank you, John. I think I am starting to comprehend that it is a front bar liner made of something like horsehair, and wrapped in foam and vinyl.

    this piece was not on my car when i bought it, so i am having to find comparable photos. thanks to LiveFromNY and John912 for the educational material.
