    FS: 911S 02-1967 - 306497S - german restoration 350km

    Fully restored, 1967 model 911S 2.0

    German registration took place on July 13th, 2020. The Porsche is now registered with a German TÜV and can be test driven
    at any time by arrangement.
    • The car was delivered by Porsche Stuttgart to the dealer "Volkswagen Canada Ltd., Toronto" on February 8,
    1967. In 2008 the Porsche came back to Europe where it was to be restored by the buyer at the time.
    However, this restoration was canceled.
    • The actual owner bought the Porsche 2016 and we started a bare metal restoration to full factory specs
    from 2017 until finish 2020. Whole restoration needed over 1500 hours of work and search for special
    model parts. Of course, all work is perfectly documented by pictures.
    • This polored 911S was manufactured in February 1967 and is one of the early S models cars that were
    delivered in this classic color. The car still retains its correct engine (not matching) with original IDS Weber carburators and
    it has matching 901/02 type 5-speed gearbox.
    • The car is in a nearly concours condition and the latest GTÜ Classic Data report gives it an overall rating of 1 (scale
    1-5). A copy of original Kardex and Porsche COA is also
    availible.

    The car is complete and a very original example of the early delivered S models which still has its original
    underbody. Restoration was done without looking at cost. All parts like cylinder, cylinder heads, wheels,
    instruments are correctly date stamped and matching.
    The engine and gearbox were completely rebuild as well as all the mechanical and electrical parts. The interior
    was also fully redone and is now like brand new. A main focus has also been placed on the rust prevention. All
    threads, screws, washers and other non-galvanized parts were treated with permafluid anti-rust oil.
    Furthermore, the wheel arches and inner door rebates are treated with permafilm, which is originally used in
    shipbuilding.
    The car had originally a clean canada title, and after restoration it actually get German TUV and road
    registration in Germany. A test drive is possible at any time after consultation (near Frankfurt/Main Germany).

    Beautiful car! Minor details, forgot the black around the door cards, and installed a 1973 4 hole drip rail, but very nicely done!

    Really good eyes!!! The black around the door panels was left because a lot of people in europe do not like it. But thats no problem to add as it was also second paint original. The four holes was left as it was already a well done body work and we do not want to change it back.

    probably the same guys that do not like body colour door hinge bolts? let me tell you ..those guys are all over the globe..

    Same as with the black under the door panels. Easy change if the customer wants it.
    But you also have to recognice that the price for a fully restorated 2.0S SWB is really low! And that is german quality work...

    Yes the bolts are painted. You have to decide to paint the srews or the bolts. And also same here....minor thing that could be changed if someone wants it. For me it is important that also paint is under the door hinge for rust prevention.
    And if someone wanna know....not all screws old with 8G on it. Some are new but chrome 6

    Body is not sand blasted!! It is plastic blasted...same like airplane body.

    it almost look like you didn't apply undercoating in the wheel wells, trunk and engine bay or are the pictures misleading?

    BTW easy changes to make it a little more 67, could be the air cleaner (70?) and cooling fan assembly?

    Good luck w the sale. The price seems to be fair.
