    I've seen a version of this tag that had no rivets and looked like they were adhered more like the engine decals.

    I believe I have seen a pic of a glued one on a 912,
    However That could be the case to mine, as it is late 68. But have found on shops only the riveted one. Still have to look for a non riveted one though.

    Interesting thing we need to dig in.

    Thank you, SEBB. That definitely address the question. 1) yes there should be a plaque 2)with adhesive 3) hence no holes for riveting on mine.

    Now need to find a non riveted plaque.
