    Steering wheel installation and horn

    Hi

So I am putting back my original steering wheel on my 1971. Prior owner had a momo wheel installed. The horn was not working. Ego relief the restoration - so I have a few replacement items. I have a feeling I may have mixed up some parts. So a few pictures and questions…

    1) I think the brown/white wire you see inside the steering is a spare that’s not used? At least that’s what I read ?
    2) the brown wire with the round hole connector attaches to the shaft support under one of the 4 screws?
    3) I’m stumped on the pin. One has a black wire and one doesn’t ? Which do I use and if it’s the wired one where does that connect to?
    4) what wire attaches to the tab circled in red on the rear side of the ceramic ring?
    5) do I use the 3 thin shims?

There should be a spade on the brn/ whi wire, ground it and the horn should blow. The wire with the round hole spade goes under one of the four mounting screws. The brn/whi wire then attaches to the spade on the back of the fiber ring after you take off that black wire. The cancel ring bolts to the back of the steering wheel. The spring and a missing collar slide on the steering wheel hub and center the wheel in the upper column bearing.
