    Stupid Purchase - Nardi

My 912 has a tan interior and I fell in love with a tan Nardi leather wheel. Purchased without hub. So I latched onto this thing. Now realize not appropriate for my 912. Probably later model 911. Can anybody identify it for me. Thanks

It would be helpful to post a picture of the base of the adapter and look for a stamped model number and post that, as well..

Whole piece devoid of any markings. Bolt pattern matches the Nardi wheel. Based on construction looks like collapsible on impact. That's why I assumed later model. Thanks for responding.

Nardi and other aftermarket manufacturers have been making collapsable hubs for many years because of safety laws in the US. Yours is one of those, but it appears to have a hub extension on it. I'll be there is a number on that thing some where.

it's all about the splined end and the horn contact, if it's a ring on the hub, it could be for a later 911 (G body/impact bumper)

If you are interested in a solid Nardi hub, I have one that's I'd let go for just a few bucks more than shipping

Here is the bottom. Thanks for the offer but I have decided to sell the Nardi. Just finally got my 912 back and love the wood wheel more. Just don't want to stick somebody with this hub and put them in the position I am in now. Thanks for responses so far.

74 or later 911, or 72 and later 914 by the looks of it. I still think there would be a number somewhere. Have you removed the plastic cover?

Took it apart. Had an engraving on the wheel attaching piece and also on the sub frame. Triangle with the word top. I assume this was for orientation. Also had L10 engraved and made in Italy. Also found an extremely small 92 on the other end. That's all I could find.
