    Proper finish on steering linkage?

    I am getting ready to have some parts painted.

    Any of these (2 arrows) painted?

    Hi Richard,

    The knuckle is painted black. The shaft gets a black phosphate finish.

    knuckle was painted with the bolts already installed..so black paint also on the bolts...and if the knuckle of yours(which looks like a very early one) also has the metal strap ..thats also painted
