    Magazine advert from back in the day. The RS watch (production) not prototype version is bottom right I think?

    Recently read that glass may be a 'soft' or hard type for vintage. A Lecoultre that sits in a drawer was bad scratched. I considered that it might benefit from : 600 sandpaper/water, which took out heavier nicks but clouded everything over...followed with 1200, 1500, 2500, and 7000.

    Last was a car polish on 3" diam. foam pad drill. It is absolutely like new vs. previous condition :

    The morning after Air-Water, I had the good fortune of meeting Jay Turkbas at Auto Kennelís C&C. Jay resurrected the Sheffield brand. I could not decide which I liked better so bought two. Attractive watches that look and feel right at a great price point.
