    W: 1972 911T Coupe

So, I finally have the ’69T I’ve been restoring for my wife to a point where I’m starting to look for a project I can do for myself. As you can see by the thread title, I’ve decided to try and find a ‘72T for my next multi-year project. Obviously I don’t want an “original survivor” that shouldn’t be restored. In fact, things such as non-matching motor (MFI preferred), color, paint condition and mechanical state are not important. I would prefer a complete car, but I am not looking for a car that has issues like serious rust or in particular a major accident.

If you have anything that more or less fits the description, please send me a message through the forum.

    Thanks,
    Rick

I thought I would bump this and add some additional info on my search for a ‘72 project car.

My budget for the car is $50-60k and ideally it would be a non-sunroof coupe with current drivability not important. Again, such things as non-matching motor, color, paint condition and mechanical state are not important. I would prefer a complete car, but would want to steer clear of significant rust or accident damage. I appreciate any help you can provide.

    Thanks,
    Rick

Hey Rick, how's the search going? Just curious because your price range seems more than adequate for the kind of car you want, judging from what's been up for sale in the last few months. I've been watching since I've been toying with putting my car up for sale (72T original'ish survivor) for around $60-70K.

Hi Joe, thanks for replying to my thread. I saw a car this weekend that ticks most of the boxes for me so I'm good for now. If something changes, I will reach out to you.

    Thanks,
    Rick
