    Engine stand recommendations

I'm looking to buy an engine stand for a 2.4 build. I have an SIR P201 engine yoke. Recommendations please for an economical, reliable stand?

    Thanks in advance.

A stand that your yoke fits into , it won't fit most .

I will have to check what kind we have when I'm up at the barn, but a four wheel stand is really nice. Much more stable than a three wheel one.

4 wheels with a U shaped bottom was best for me. Much easier to get the engine up off the engine cart / lift / ATV jack and onto the stand than with the central "I" shaped stand. Maybe others have a trick to getting the engine up onto the stand with the "I" shaped stand that I don't know about (other than ceiling lifts, etc.) ?

As noted above, If the diameter of the stand mount hole is not matched to the yoke diameter, rotating the engine is awkward if not impossible,. Even 1-2mm difference is annoying, and can require some hacks to make it work smoothly (soda bottle spacer trick, etc.).

Thanks all. So the SIR P210 yoke is 60mm. What's a good sturdy economical stand with a compatible mounting clamp?
