    Restoration Shop

Hello, I have recently acquired a 67 that will need new floors and tank support + full repaint in the original color (currently it is black).

For the drivetrain I will take her to Rennsport in Sealy.

I am looking for advice on the metal work as I do not have a shop.
I am specifically looking for a place that has EXPERIENCE in doing this work on early 911s. I am not looking for a welder who is good on domestic cars or just a broad welder. So far I find plenty of recommendations for shops in California or Colorado, but in Texas? I do not want fancy or fast, just good straight up work.

    Thanks

Call Roy Smalley in Dallas. His shop does exemplary work and he knows these cars as well as anyone.

    Thank you.
I am new to the forum but not new to the Porsche world having a couple.

I am just victim of a sub par work done by a paint shop on my 964, mainly related to the assembly and I am fixing them when I can. Sunroof brackets broken, missing gaskets, lock not working etc.
So I am being super picky on my 67.

For your metalwork, you might try Jeffs Resurrections in Taylor. Usually a backlog but you said no hurry, right?

BTW, I also use Warren and the folks at Rennsport in Sealy, great shop/
