Open question to all car nuts...Do you have selective hearing?...

Am I the only one who gets increasingly bothered and annoyed over the "new trend" of so called "back-ground" music to videos, footage in general from races and events?....Granted, I'm an old fart but I can still hear...but not when aimless and loud (elevator)music or track noise is "up front"...often you have to rewind to try to listen to what the commentator is reporting...is it a generation "thing" or did all the new(and old) sound technicians go to the same "seminar"?....try to listen to the comments from the IMSA races on the major networks...luckily Formula One is still "bearable" most of the time...compare the "Goodwood"-broadcasts as good examples.....(btw, I did have my coffee this morning)

Here is just an example from this morning:

i`d call this foreground music...but not much of importance was said in the example video.would be cool to have a voice-off and/or music-off button.
