    FS: @eBay - 1965 Porsche 356 C Coupe Project $29,000

    SOLD SOLD SOLD

    1965 Porsche 356
    Chassis Number 131587
    Engine Number 732640

Here we have a car that has some glimmers of what was a stunning car. 131587 left the Porsche Factory in wonderful Irish Green (Paint Code 6406). Lots of the original green is shining through so you can get a true idea of how nice this color shows on a 356. The C Coupe is the final version of the 356 and has the best components like disc brakes. This car was someone's stalled project with lots of new metal work done including new floors, battery box, back seats, closing panels, and passenger side rocker panel. While there has been a lot of the heavy lifting done in terms of metal work there is still a lot of welding to be done, please look at all the pictures to see the areas of rust that still need to be dealt with. The motor shows signs of someone putting some decent money into it with an aluminum oil cooler and new flywheel. We have not tried to fire the motor but it does turn over nicely by hand. The motor also has European heater boxes.
Decent 356C projects are coming up for sale less and less so don't miss out on this one.
Car has a clean title and is ready for International shipping.

Looks like it was built in late 64 for the 65 model year.

I agree to this. My 356 has a higher chassis number as yours and was also made in 1964.
