Length of Front Sway Bar Drop link for 1968 911 ?

Iv tried searching but no luck. I have replacement original front sway bar with 2 drop links one of which is bent, they are 22 cm long. I ordered a new drop link from Aase and its 25 cm in length. which is correct ? and if I can't find a 22 cm one or Im unable to bend the current 22cm I have appropriately, can I use 2 25cm links without issue?

    Cheers

    Eric

So long as both links are the same length there should be no problems unless the ride height of the car has been substantially lowered in which case the longer drop link might limit the range of travel.

I believe that the search algorithms for this site are limited for newer people... The older the member the more depth in time is the search...
I don't think it is a diabolical plot but just the way the search engine is trying to satisfy the search...

Bob: That's the first time I've seen that thought advanced. Is there some authority for that position?

it is based on my experience and observation.
i noticed when i did a search it would give me my post and threads that i responded to in the past.
it was not searching the term that may have occurred years earlier..
This was not always the result but all too often the results
pretty useless actually, if you are looking for information.
I also noticed older members posting in response to questions in chat with older posts that they were able to pull -up.
If i had searched the same term I would not have got that older answer....

Bob: When using the search function, are you possibly limiting its range by entering your "user Name?" Try the advanced search by only entering the topic and being sure the range is set to "any date."
